You forgot Uptown Funk! ????
Anything guitar has an unexplored potential to become infinitely more epic simply by being played on a bass. It is just a better and stronger sound. If you manage to play it, it will inherently sound better. Guitars need distortion to compensate, it is a weaker sound (physicaly, not opinion, hence the need for a bigger amp for the bass)
Number one… ????
EPIC
I tried these but my fingers fell off.
Yeah but number one was for real BEHS players that didn't go to BERKLEE ????????????❤❤❤ ya knob
Stairway to heaven hit bro do black dog next! ????
5 riffs that sound amazing when Charles Berthoud plays them: literally just pick any 5 riffs.
Why does #3 sound like the opening to a boss battle ????
Master of puppets ❌
Master of slap ✅
is it just me or does stairway on a fretless bass sound like a mario 64 soundtrack?
tears in haven has always been a favorite of mine, and now even more played on base!
I liked playing god until I heard it a million times from people trying to go viral on tiktok
Stairway????????
#3 sounds like Doom
Playing god is not fair, you are most likely one of the very few who can actually play it on bass…
Man polyphia really is just a lot of notes with zero feeling or emotion, that's a great riff? Its just bleh. Every other riff on this list has 1000 times more soul
It’s weird seeing a bass that had 6 strings
Polyphia sounds like technically impressive noise…. not quite music… just very impressive noise
OK I can respect that click bait you master baiter <3
This showed up in my feed with a clip of someone playing sweet home alabama on guitar next to it, that riff would probably sound great on bass too
5????
4????
3????
2????
1????
Love the Bass "Stairway" ….
Steve Bailey was the first bassist to play stairway on 6 string bass
What's next kirk slappit????????
Stairway on bass is just majestic
these riffs sound amazing on any instument
№3 – is powerful!
Да не, как-то не особо
Thank you for introducing me to that polyphia song. Incredible
4,3,and 2 are perfectly acceptable. 5 and 1 are complete and utter shite and should not even been mentioned with the likes of Clapton, Metallica and Led Zep…lolol.
To be fair, stair way to heaven sounds good on any instrument.
Dipstick
yeeeeah, NONE of those sound better on bass
Damn that Polyphia riff was super clean
Alright so…the Master of Puppets one definitely sounded like it was a DOOM cover lol
Why does Stairway to Heaven sound like a Metallica cover
420th comment!
Why does stairway to heaven sound good on fretless bass?
You sure about any of this???
I love that the difficulty goes backwards on this. lol
LOL I play bass in a cover band and when we play 7 Nation army my guitar player sometimes goes off for a brew until the guitar solo.
Your stairway to heaven cover on fretless is possibly the best piece of music I’ve ever heard
PLEASE DO A FULL VERSION OF PLAYING GOD
I would buy a six string and practice every day to play Playing God from Polythia. I love that cut and the whole CD.
Tks Charles
Please full version of stairway!
The thing about playing guitar parts on bass is they always sound better on guitar.
Play bass stuff on bass. Groove is what bass is about.
ah yes, the notorious Piccolo Bass.
Can't stop by Red Hot Chilli Peppers sounds ???? on bASS
Polyphia is so underrated imo however all of these sound incredible
