  • That Thomann logo ( owner of the HB brand ) behind your back is the biggest sign of your impartiality 😉

  • One of my friends has that purple Harley Benton, and I STILL can't believe it only cost him $200 US. It sounded a LOT nicer than I'd expect an inexpensive bass to sound!

  • I have $200 and $2400 basses. There's definitely a huge difference in quality and sound. I think the best bang for your buck is a lower end P Bass for somewhere around $500-800.

  • I took a Harley Benton and put a bunch of work into the neck, setting it up and dressing the frets, now it’s perfect.

    Start with a Harley Benton
Put shielding tape inside of it (or that goop)
    Glue the frets
    Even the frets
Give it a proper set up
    Round the fretboard
Then give it oil and polish it

It’ll play like an expensive guitar or bass and sound the same. Maybe replace the tuners or something, but I don’t think it’s necessary. They’re really solid guitars

  • Nah I don't like them they make a strat replica with a 12 inch compound radius which doesn't make so much sense. When I look at my 5 string hb musicman replica it has an 350mm compound while a 5 string music man has an 12 inch compound so nah I wouldn't say that they are good as they are way too thick for my hands and none of their guitars have an compound of less than 12 inch so idk????????????

  • I have 2k fender J bass and a £100 Harley Benton. I enjoy them equally and it bothers me.
