I'm only 15 minutes in and this is awesome. PS… at the end, this has been an amazing interview.
Best!
Beautiful.????????
His love and admiration for his dad along with his love of music reminds me of interviews of Stevie Ray Vaughan talking about his brother Jimmie and love of blues
What a song to finish on, great interview too. I can see how his soul is expressed through the music it’s beautiful
Two great guys talking about what they love, music. Another amazing interview from Rick Beato. Respect!
His stepdad is His hero ! the way he speaks about him is most of fathers dreams !
I have to say, listening to this interview gives me faith in the younger and absolutely amazing artists that are out there! This gentleman obviously has a love and passion for something that his father/family, friends did cause they loved to do it. And fortunately enough, a musically talented person was there to listen, learn and love it to keep carrying it on!!!! To me, this was how music was born! I truly appreciate the love and passion for “hearing” something and letting your creative mind and soul carry you the rest of the way!!! It’s a joy to have passion and something that brings you love and joy in this life!!! Keep on pickin’
He's describing "playing by ear" without actually saying it…
What a class act. Proud Pops for sure.
Sub'd
Man him talking about his dad just brings tears to my eyes.
This interview left me emotional. Another great interview. Thank you Rick!
came for the music, stayed for the amazing personality
Exceptional parents have exceptional children.
El Estibario sent me here. Subscribing for the brotherhood of musicians.
Anyone know what song he’s playing at 14:24?
Is Rick serious about no ska festivals? Whhhaaat?
45:42 my hand got tired pause????
31:52
I really admire Rick's interview style (wind 'em up and let 'em go), but I just can't usually get into it enough to watch/listen to an hour or more of it.
Les Claypool, however, was awesome enough to not only keep my interest for an hour, but also let me know I'd missed this one.
Beats audiobooks for doing chores to.
Did you realize, that guy looks like SRV. And actually he talks like him. He plays different stuff, but with a really self confident groove to it – like SRV. Maybe we got the proof of reincarnation here…:-)
That babyface is a bully ! I love his approach to music
Plays absolutely flawlessly with beautifully sharp articulate notes, no “bum” notes. Proceeds to say “aww man there’s all sorts of bum notes ????” lmao. He’s so funkin good.
"How do you do that, you look so relaxed" "..There's your answer" Nice!
Skill. That's raw talent. I can't believe this. That kid is like Schubert. I've heard about old John Henry, you do not fuck with him. He has already died and come back at least 16 times.
5.21M subs…6.5M views..not bad Rick, not bad at all 🙂
Perfect interview. Love this so much!
This sounds almost identical to how I learned to play guitar in 1975 or so. My three older brothers played guitar, mom played piano. Bluegrass "pickins" every weekend with some amazing musicians. I sat in the center and watched, mimicked, and learned. Then I learned I had perfect pitch and could play by ear. Such amaze.
This is so awesome ! the First person I have heard Chet Atkins playing guitar and banjo at the same time!! Incredible.
Its incredible … no words
Dani Marbin interview..
Great great interview. This is one of my favorites you have done Rick.

Has this fellow played with Tommy Emmanuel yet?
