Can the tonex can do the same thing with an Android phone?
why not record the riff on to garageband on the iphone it works great!
My tonex will work with my ipad .. i know my nano works with my iPhone but i been using a PC for the Tonex .. i did not know this ?
You can change this setting in tonex, and I believe in nano cortex too. This isn't wrong, it's just a different approach. You might want the dry signal to re-amp/post process later.

I like the Tonex. I have pretty much all of the modeller/capture devices and its about as good as any. I go back and forth between units as a favorite. Currently I have been a quad cortex fan.
Is there a way we can record our voice at the same time as the tonex ? For example to do some YouTube or TikTok livestreams to interact with people or just recording videos for friends and comment during the video ?
As a bassist I don't know what to do. I got the Nano, but immediately learned of the ANAGRAM. more monkey$ again, but shop will honour a return of the nano . But I also play BAD GUITAR. But#3; surely I should be able to use the anagram? Anybody have experience with both? should I try to afford the extra for the Anagram? or keep on with the Nano?
I think what cortex did is really great, because its focus on post processing step.. with that dry signal, u could easily quantize the wave + try tons of amazingly sounding in your DAW and find your perfect sound character for the riff ..❤❤❤❤
To be fair this isn’t to blame over the nano cortex. This will happen to every audio device that output multiple channels over usb on apple products. They should be the ones to provide a way to select which channel you want as audio input like any daw. That said I think it’s reasonable to set the first channel of the nano cortex to be the one carrying the effects and not the dry signal for easy of use.
Isn’t this fixed with the 2.0 update For sound on the camera app?
