He’s just adding frets. You don’t use frets with slide anyway. Jeff is the best but this isn’t that crazy.

What’s the name of that song?
Country bands have been using this sound for decades with a lap steel guitar. It lays sideways in the lap when played and they have a tube over their finger to get the notes like Jeff is doing. Sooo, nothing new here.

Controversial but someone please let me know some things of Jeff Beck that do explain how hyped up he is… because I really don’t see it. Nothing groundbreaking is happening in this clip or any other clip of his playing yet people act like he’s the most skilled player there’s ever been… are people hearing something different to me??
