Jam Pedals Ripply Fall Review: A 3-in-1 Musical Modulation Pedal

Welcome to my review of the Jam Pedals Ripply Fall. The Ripply Fall combines Vibrato or Chorus on the right hand side along with Phaser on the left. In the center of the pedal is a button that acts as a speed ramp. The Jam Pedals Ripply Fall runs on 9v DC and is hand-made in Greece.

  • ANother great demo. Nice Demo track to start the video! Great sounding pedal, a bit expensive, although it's kinda like 3 effects in one – two usable at the same time…

  • Shane,
I don't like this pedal as much as I would have wanted to. I'm a great fan of the tasty effects made by Jam along with their colorful artwork, but this pedal is not great and it's overpriced ($379 US). It is in essence, a two-knob chorus combined with one-knob phaser. They sound great, but are light on features. Where's the stereo? For chorus, compare against the Boss DC-2W. That's got stereo in and out plus four presets, all of which make very usable sounds. Costs $219 US. You can add your own phaser and still come under $379.
I appreciate the review, even if I'm not completely sold on the product.

  • Hi Shane, will the Ramp Switch also ramp the Chorus down? Thanks man and Cheers from Salem, Ohio US.

  • If you have some ODs, you can stack them with compounding gain, while turning down individual volume levels, so that you can add Edge of Breakup to any Modulation fx.
    Experiment with your settings.

  • I have a Mooer Multi Effects Unit and this really tells me I need to explore these modulations more. I certainly would love this pedal…oh my God…Vibrato with a little dirt….OMG !
