I Review the Price, Build Quality, Pros and Cons,
Thoughts on DIFFICULTY OF playing a 12 string guitar versus
a 6 string guitar. Also note this is my first time playing a 12 string guitar. I normally just play my 6 string electric guitar etc.

  • I learned how to play 12 string with this model. I installed tusq pins, added bone nut and saddle. Upgraded the tuners. Gave it tempered tuning with a nice low action. Also swapped out the octave strings with double unison (two sets of 6) tuned in D( one whole step down) Plays and sounds like a dream. You’d be surprised what potential this guitar has. It’s my go to for when I don’t want to travel with my more expensive 12 string guitars

  • I do NOT want to buy the Songmaker DR-100 Dreadnought 12 string. My thinking with 12 strings is this – I've been playing guitar for over 50 years, I'm 63.

So, for me, even if I were intermediate, it's not worth a few hundred bucks to buy a lower end 12 string knowing I'll only have to put down several hundred more to get a 12 string I'm gonna be happy with as I progress (as an intermediate) as a skilled advanced level player there's no way I'm buying a cheap 12 string.

This instrument is only good for someone who plays 6 string at a beginner or slightly more advanced skill set who wants to see whether the'll be interested in pursuing 12 string because a 12 string is not for everyone.

I'm actually an experienced 12 string player and I'm in the market for a 12 string. I always try to buy used in as close to new condition as I can get because why pay for a brand new guitar when for the same money or less, I know 100% I can find a guitar I can't afford brand new but can find in brand new condition at used cost!!

I'm looking for an Epiphone 12 string Inspired by Gibson Hummingbird.
I've played a couple and I've played Gibson Hummingbird 12 string guitars and the Epiphone inspired Hummingbirds are superior to the actual Gibsons!!!

    That's what I'm gonna buy!!!!
I also own an Epiphone Excellente which is a superior guitar!!
