Brother! What wall hangers are those? Thank you for the review my friend :)!
I wish they came in a wood finish, rather than only the coloured lacquers.
Great review, might be my next purchase.
Nice guitar! I’ve been wanting one for a while, mainly because of its comfort. I currently have a PRS S2 Standard 24, and while it’s an amazing guitar, my left hand starts to hurt during long gigs. I’m thinking that won’t be an issue with a Strandberg. Also, Amazing song, man!
0:39 huh?
This guitar is a pure win, have one and it's one of the nicest instruments I have ever played.
Great video man. Love the song too. Have you modded the pickups yet?
Great review, awesome tune, but that toothpick nailed.
Brother rather than talking bout the axe demo some sounds .. Clean / little OD / Cranking it up ✌️just my thoughts ✌️
Played it last nigh! Not worth the cost. Love the extremely light weight. Probably around 4 pounds or less. The neck is the worst I've ever played. Very uncomfortable. Still love fender necks the most.
Thank you for not playing djent or chugging , I really wanted to see the red color but the red lights on the back makes it look different
I’m really considering getting one next. What tuning were you in for this video? Is it easy to drop tune with a Boden?
I've been bingeing your videos lately cos I'm eyeing up a Boden for my first Strandberg, gotta say I really enjoy your style of "presenting" (or whatever you wanna call it). You're informative without getting mindnumbingly tedious, and you're really personable without getting too jokey or "cute" about it, and I love the Gibson burns in particular ???? Your lead style is super melodic too so you definitely don't have to feel down about "not being a shredder", cos you've got more than enough melody and phrasing to make up for it!
Now, back to coveting Bodens – I'm pretty much set on the Essential now, unless a sweet deal on an NX 6 or Metal comes up, that is…
Crazy times when people say that $1000 guitar is cheap…. It's not cheap at all. Most of my guitars cost me $200-300.
I've had my Boden Standard multi-scale for about two weeks and can't put it down. If you can swing the extra $700 get the Boden Standard.
I had to return two essentials before I got one that was playable. The guitar is comfortable and looks nice. The pickups and electronics are cheap. The pickups need to be replaced if your a serious player as the OEMs just don't cut it
I just can't look at it. Everybody has his own BEST GUITAR and shape, and that shape doesn't attract me at all.
If I would try it it would probably convince me otherwise but until then…they are not for me.
P.s. Love the Videos dude, finally an authentic dude doing reviews, and that accent makes them Videos better. ????
I've been interested in trying one of these for a while. Might do so in the near future and I'm especially glad that there is now an option that isn't multiscale (just in case. I might get along with the multi scale, I've never tried it so far).
That being said, I find it a bit concerning what people consider "affordable" these days. In Germany the Essential sells for ~1300€. While that is a few hundred € cheaper than the Boden Standard, it would still be the most expensive guitar (just) I've ever bought, should I get one. It is by no means what I would consider an "affordable" guitar. I'm not saying that price isn't justified; it might very well be. But let's be honest – Strandbergs start in the mid-range price segment.
They look great but after the recent price hike, even the Essential model line isn't that affordable anymore. I was considering getting one a few months back but now I can't justify shelling out the sort of $ they're asking for on these guitars when there's stuff like HILS guitars. Heck, a lot of Charvels are cheaper than the entry-level Strandberg Essential product offering.
sounds like scale the summit! good job
What's the amp and chorus setting on that lead tone? I would be very grateful if you can answer this ????Great Video
