A comparison of what the And Justice for All album originally sounded like, with the lack of bass, and the bass boosted version. It was Metallica’s fourth studio album, their first one with their new bassist, Jason Newsted. And, for whatever reason, they basically turned his bass down to 0.

bass shouldnt be to bassy and "warm". Bass shouldnt destroy the coldness of the sound.
