Will try this out! I wonder if Boss will ever add an "acoustic amp" to the choices of amps loaded in the unit. I used to have the Boss Katana Artist which had an "acoustic amp" sim. Setting the EQs (Parametric, Global etc) can be a daunting task. Thankyou sir for sharing this information! <><

Really like your vids and playing also. I recently bit the bullet n bought a GX 100 .. My last processor I bought was a Roland GP16 (think this was 1989 or so). Never had any amp modeler. I'm currently on the fence with either keeping the unit or sending it back and saving up for something in the Fractal zone. I'm worried its just my ear.. That it doesn't sound that great. Im having an issue getting a good clean tone. I really love the user interface .. the drag n drop of pedals is really fun.
I guess my question since watching your other vid on using it for a yr. Do you think this thing will grow on me over time?

Hi Rod, your shure you cant switch off the preamp. I do so on the 20 year old Boss gt pro and i create top acoustic Sounds, Just using param eq, effects Like RB, DL, limiter….

I have been wanting an electro-acoustic guitar and wondered whether I needed to make an additional investment into an acoustic amp. Initially I thought I could just find a setting on my GX-100 but began to doubt. Do you think the GX-100 acts as a good substitute?
