Fender Rumble 200 bass combo amp review 9-17-24
Dudeman really likes the sound of this low/mid priced Fender combo amp, after viewing the video results he felt like he should have dialed in some better tones to show off its true capabilities. He almost always sets his instrument controls in the middle so he’s not coloring the true amp sound. Its a nice size, not too big and its very light, around 34lbs. A great buy for players at any level!

Warning! The rumble 200 is incredibly boomy. Obnoxiously boomy. Roll the bass back to about 1/4 and go from there. I did two gigs with it before I figured it out. I have never had a more boomy amp. I now have it dialed in and it’s fantastic. Great for up to 200 peeps. I even used it outdoors and had plenty of head room with no line into the p.a. Cover band btw.
As it happens, with a band I'm in right now, the best fit is my Squier Jazz bass and Rumble 200. I did upgrade the pickups, but still by Fender.
nice stack…???? I'm about to buy the 210 cab also to complete my setup and get the full 200 watts potential of the rumble 200, whats your opinion after you used it together a few weeks later, is it worth to add the extra 2 by 10 cabinet?
Nice run-through. Just picked one up yesterday and am already drooling about a Fender extension cabinet ????
I wish you would have shown us the top controls of the amp!
