  • Hi Perter, Love your Artist guitars reviews. I've just discovered Artist guitars and they are just amazing, they leave the name brands behind. Sold all my G's, F's are still good. I now have 5 Artist guitars and can't believe the quality and the prices are ridiculous. I've got the black paisley tele with the classic bridge. Just an amazing guitar. Currently at my guitar tech getting the bridge changed to a a similar bridge to that in Peter's demo.

  • Brilliant playing as usual from Pete. Enthusiastic review, typical of Pete too. As a TC59 owner I have no need for a SS contoured version, but if I was, I'd be disappointed that there are no colour variations to choose from. Not a fan of the natural finish, would prefer to see some vintage colour options.

  • I wish Artist would come out with a thinline tele like this with single coil pups. I'm over heavy guitars I tried their humbucker thinline tele, but found the neck pickup lacked definition. It was too boomy for my taste. A single coil version would be spot on.

  • Great review, Thanks.
Nice Beck tribute – R.I.P. Jeff Beck, gone too soon.
You sold me – just now bought one – now I have all the natural ash variations of this guitar.

  • Man boobs LOL. No where near it Pete!

I've got the V1 without the twanglers and don't find it too heavy (compared to some of the TC59s). The contours are lovely on these guitars though. But the pickups in the V1 are very brittle in the top end. I'll be swapping those to twanglers in the future.

Also great as mod'ing guitars ????. The necks on these and TC59s are worth the price of admission

BTW Lovely jam at the end there Pete!
