Today I’m writing riffs using the brand new Eloy Drums from Bogren Digital, the official signature drum VST for Slipknot’s drummer Eloy Casagrande (also known from Sepultura).

In this episode, I put Eloy Drums to the test inside a heavy riff-writing session. From tight toms and crushing snares to Slipknot-inspired blast beats, this kit is built for metal. The best part? It’s mix-ready straight out of the box, making it perfect for deathcore, metalcore, and modern metal productions.

I walk through the plugin’s features, program some drum parts, then lay down riffs on my GOC Guitars Vajra+ 7-string into the Peavey Invective.MH with the Substation Onyx Opaque Drive for extra bite. We also track bass with Neural DSP Parallax to round it out into a full demo track.
