  • Sounds nice. But how do you stay on the humbucker in a Strat for the whole demo ? I’m thinking of one and I’ll probably just get the old version as all the new features are cool but not essential for me

  • I always come for your outstanding playing, Shawn… but have to say that the amp sounds amazing. Which Celestion speakers do you have in your cab? Cheers, all the way from Portugal.

  • ahhh man, I was just thinking about getting the d25 combo and now this guy pops up!
currently using a tone king imperial pre into the loop of my Friedman pt, kind of miss having a good straight up clean amp with the modern flexibility.

  • Still has good punchy dynamics even with the master pushed high…benefits of fixed bias vs cathode I suppose. Sounds great. Loved the intro song also!

  • I really enjoy and appreciate the demo's you provide for us. it's a solid way for me to gauge how they will sound in my environment, as I have a Suhr Classic Antique Metallic S and pickups are the same (SSV, ML, ML) you use quite often. You've been one of my goto's for awhile now because of that and the great presentation and playing. Thanks Shawn!

  • Love your playing. It’s tasteful. Unpredictable and quirky at times in the best ways

  • Killer lick. So glad to see you are uploading new stuff. I want to ask you a question. How or where do you get or make your drum tracks. Do you wrie the lick to the drum tracksthe or opposite? I cant put the drum tracks down and I need some leadership. Thans Shawn

  • Excellent piece of guitar music on the intro. It made me think I would love to hear you and Steve Lukather do an album together. Steve also plays a lot out side the pentatonic scale box. Wow that would be a great album!

  • The absolute worst guy to demo gear! All I hear is the amazing technique, phrasing and character of the man who I’d make a deal with the devil to play like! Terrible reviewer. I can’t hear the gear at all. He’s that good. ????????

  • Nice this mean there could a be g20 mk2? Which will make the G20 MKI cheaper, which means I can finally afford a used g20 MKI lol

  • Excellent demo! And I would be excited about the d20MKII if I didn't already have the D40 (with a Tilt boost I might add!).

  • Great video Shawn!! I've been wanting a D20 for awhile now and really like the changes that were made. The footswitch is a big plus in my opinion. Thanks for the great rundown of all the features and tones!!!

  • It sounds soo good! Thanks Shawn! And your playing is just fire, so tasty and inspiring! You really are one of my favorite player!
Have you planned to talk about the D20 JL I see behind and maybe the specs compared to the d20 mkII as a pedal platform?

    Have a great day

  • The MK2 is a bit of a surprise… but the new features are very practical, especially the footswitchable GAIN. Thanks Shawn – fantastic demo, you'd sell ice cream to Eskimos 🙂

  • I had the pleasure of talking about this amp with Dan Trudeau back in January at Namm, could feel his passion when talking about this, and well, I guess is time to get one of this, great video.

  • Aside from that next to last phrase, I could've heard the 335 section blind and asked if Robben sat in for a solo.
