Fingerboard looks fake as can be – at least on YT.
WTF is "full demo" supposed to mean? Clickbait is annoying enough but it takes on an added dimension when it uses effing meaningless words and phrases
I have a 2010 road worn just like that. The only thing I did not like was a cheap pick guard. I am going to put a black one on like the 50's models had. ????
There's a tool to adjust the truss rod without having to remove it, it's less than $15 and made in Japan.
You can find it as "Hosco Phillips Head Truss Rod Wrench H-TRW+"
Just remove the pickguard and adjust away!
you can buy two nice telecasters for the retail on this…. ridiculous…
1459 € here in Italy
Danny Gatton, Roy Buchanon and Albert Lee seemed to get by OK with those 7.25" fretboards, along with more great Strat players than I could even begin to name.
Great Review. Looks and sounds great. How much does this Tele weigh?
Zero sticky factor on mine. Also, 7¼ is great, not a negative for me.
Nice looking and sounding Tele. I'd be interested in a rosewood fingerboard version to go with my AmPro2 &AVII!'51!
Zzounds is fantastic! Best in the business.
One of your very best jams! Hoping the road worn Vintera II Strat episode drops soon!
I just received one of these. A bit pricey. After playing it for a few days I have forgotton about the price because I really like the guitar. Plays beautifully and sounds just like I think a Fender Telecaster should sound. One little point and that is the sticker that comes on the pick guard. I have the maple neck one and on the sticker it says Features: Rosewood finger board. I also noted the sticker is from 2023. Great guitar and I am really happy with my purchase.
I'm torn between this (burgundy color) vs player II tele… I LOVE the looks of this road worn, I'm not sure if it has the value to beat the player 2, with its modern neck and amazing sounds as well… Though on the player I don't like the look of modern bridge.
My answer is YES! The sticky neck can be made smooth with a scotch pad and about 5 min of buffing.
The Fender Telecaster is legendary, I've had 3, still have my favorite: Thinline! Semi-hollow
????????
I just paid for yet another fret job on one of my fenders.
Only guitars with stainless frets for me now going forward.
The Fender Baja was the guitar that inspired the Vintera model…The Baja 50s is a better guitar than this one and has a period correct ash body. The Baja comes with a custom shop broadcaster pickup in the bridge and a custom shop twisted Tele pickup in the neck….Designed by master fender custom shop builder Chris W Fleming they can still be found on eBay for half the price of the Vintera…Snap one up before they become almost impossible to find.
