  • As has been addressed by many folks, we apologize for the audio! We are going to work on getting a better mic for future demos, thanks for all of the constructive criticism everybody! Glad you all are here to help!

  • I think for the sound quality the third one the fourth didn't make too much of a difference I didn't think but the three was very rich robust beautiful sound.

  • My two favorite Takamines are my EF360SBG great blue grass guitar and my TNV340s this Nashville model is also good for country/blue grass! Cheers…..

  • Thank you very much for this video. This was really great to see and compare quality of tone in different woods.

    1. Maple Wood – Muddy sounding, one can hear this approach of tonality in 1st two guitars.

    2. 51CE Takamine is spruce-walnut combination: There is good resonance that can be captured from walnut back. .

    3. 91CE – It's a catastrophic combination of using walnut + Maple wood combination – Hard to have a clear distinct difference. The tonality are distorted . .

    4. 1000 USD guitar – Great Harmonics with cedar wood. Good in a closed room concert or so. (Not my thing), maybe in future (Harmonics) become my thing, then this would be important ❤

  • Just bought the CN93CE and it's a beautiful sounding guitar. Your demos sounded awful and your step 4 has the wrong description. It reads: GN93CE and it should read: GD93CE

  • I bought a take mine made in Taiwan . I put daddario phronzor string and in the bridge bone pick . Sound like a Martin . They don’t make them anymore . Mine is 2005 . Now I heard theses one and the sound is terrible . The Taylor’s are the best .

  • Are yamahas acoustic electric better price range? I like Mike daws style and don’t know what guitar to get with 1000 budget? Anyone?

  • I'm currently saving up money for a Takamine DG93 CE. I sold my other Takamine guitar to purchase a Yamaha FGX830 CE guitar which is a very nice guitar as well. One of the reasons why I sold my first Takamine was how heavy the case was and the guitar itself was heavier then I wanted. I won't have these problems with the Takamine DG93 CE.

  • Would've loved if you played the same few strumming, picking patterns on all of these guitars for a better comparison <3

  • Amazingly the first three guitares sounds better than the more expensive one….but perhaps the guitare player should have played the same partition on all ?

  • All these tunes are different and my phone doesn't have any audio how the hell am I supposed to tell the difference

  • You skipped over the GN20ce & GD20ce which I think are a better choice than the G30 series as the G20 has a satin finish solid cedar top

  • The EF341 the best acoustic ever and greatest stage guitar, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash etc.. called it the best to perform with and I agree

  • Hard to guage the difference when the playing style keeps changing every guitar. Maybe consider a short 20-30 second peice that you repeat with each guitar
