???? The New Boss ME-90 has us wondering how it compares to the current king of affordable multi-fx pedals: the Valeton GP-200. The two pedals have very different approaches to providing digital pedalboards, which is your favourite? | https://tinyurl.com/ynsp35sb

YOU MADE IT SO CONFUSING I WOULD NOT BUY EITHER OF THEM !!!! WHAT A JOKE YOU ARE.
Valeton sounds very digital.
I had a Boss GT-8 but swapped for a pedal board. Now I’m thinking of going back. Am I right in thinking with the Valeton you can only turn pedals on and off within a patch. To get a completely different sound you need to change up to the patch. On the Boss you can have banks with completely different sounds in each patch (1 to 4) within a bank. So playing a song where you need to call up different sounds (rather than just turn a pedal on or off) is easier I would have thought ? ie you can have a bank for all the sounds within a song
Biggest question is how do they feel to play??? E.G. For me the Helix sounded decent when listening to the demo or someone else playing it, BUT it feels totally flat, dead and detached compared to a real amp when you play it yourself – just doesn't have the dynamic feel of a real amp. The Quad Cortex feels very close to playing through a real amp (but too expensive for me)….. I really like the sound of the Valeton but does it respond like playing through an amp? (Or maybe not many people actually remember how it feels to play through a real amp these days ????)
(EDIT) Also I want something I can record with and send a completely unprocessed DI signal though another output at the same time as the processed signal (for re-amping and suchlike) – seems like the Veleton can easily do this but not sure about the Boss?
The comparison is absurd, in quality and sound BOSS is still the BOSS

Boss I can’t stand the digital screens
Boss ME80, ME90 rulz
The ME90, if you plug it in an FRFR, you will need external IRs. I do not like the cab sims in this unit. I think it's more suited to be paired with a guiar amp, with effects loop even better,
The Valeton GP200 has been my best purchase ever. Thanks to vids like this…. I have made so many inspired patches that just make the Valeton a whole different beast????????
Where will Valeton be in 5/10 yrs? Boss has been around for decades. Something to consider. Also the ME-90 does show the stack inside the software.
I think the Valeton gp200 can load neural amp models now❤
There is an advantage of the Valeton that I know and am not shure if the BOSS has it. In the global settings you can turn cab IR off on the unbalanced output and feed that to your stage power amp return as a personal monitor and CAB ON for the XLR going into the mixer. That is a great way of playing on stage in my opinion.
I had the Ultra (Still have ready to sell) The Axe Fx III was way too glitchy and complicated…. All I want is the 80 Metal, 60's blues and some modern satch/vai tones to jam with… Three pedal and compression… Simple… Me Tone! I don't want to waste a lot of time searching for tones and parameters…
I alway assumed that John was a son of captain Lee. Considering they are kind of look alike. I also recall someone had made a comment about that. Could have been a joke…
Thanks guys!! ????????
Please bear in mind Andertons has a large quantity of Valeton and need to move it! It's a great way for a retailer to make a profit on such a cheap consumer product. There will be influencer coercion whilst appearing to be balanced. It's clever and very subtle. Look at latest Valeton G5 videos to see what I mean. You can't go wrong with Boss with its long lineage and Japanese reliability. However I always advise to save up and get something better. None of these guys use these cheap products privately. They have access to the best so why would they!
Do you think Lee likes the Valeton? Big profit margin?
Yes you can change the order of the effects chain. Select your effect.
Click and hold parameter button.
Twist button.
And effect will move.
Click parameter button to re locate.
Valeton GP200 is a good option, no doubt, but Boss ME90 is my favorite of the world in this moment.
