Brian May’s guitar sound is what I think of when I think of the British
RIP Brien
Rory is One of the greatest guitar players ever if not the best
SUPER GROUP super guitar❤
He leaves out his homemade guitar with the unique electronics that set the pickups out of phase
I wired a Strat using Brian's system….it does sound thicker.
the half pence and the treble booster thru an AC.
A lot of it has to do with never playing in standard tuning.
I've seen Queen 2 nights in a row with Thin Lizzy. I was upset that there wasn't a 3rd performance.
Brian May is so sweet ❤
RIP Rory❤️❤️❤️
Rory, a very underrated player. RIP????
his sound is a lot fatter than a strat. So unique and a one of a kind, homemade guitar. Him and his father made it out of an old fireplace mantle, I believe.
I believe Brian Mays surprise appearance with Lady Gaga during her performance of “You and I” was the greatest MTV music awards live production ever .
In an interview (Dick Cavett show?) Someone asked JIMI HENDRIX what it felt like to be the best guitar player in the world, and Jimi replied:" I don't know, you'll have to ask RORY GALLAGHER."♥️☘️
Rory influenced many other guitar players. He very underrated.
RIP Rory you were the best !!
Brian May built his guitar with his Dad. He plays like he is one with his ax.
He is a better guitarists than me.
As a kid I always wondered why Queen sounded like a hard rock version of a classical symphony, and now I know why. I knew that Brian May couldn't have been using a violin bow on his guitar like Jimmy Page did.
He absolutely has a very distinct sound. It's easily recognizable. He's similar to EVH with his own made guitar. He's great! His own style, too..
Mr. Blue sky by elo has the same sound
Also, build your guitar from scratch and use flattened pennies for picks
