I used to play for my local church but got the boot after I accidentally set a parishioner on fire. I wish there was a pedal for my situation.

Funny l also put a black guard on my Brad Paisley tele it was a bit darker than my other tele's so l added a tbx tone control now it's got that jazzmaster thing. ( Godbless and keep putting out.)
The use of reverb really, really depends on the worship space. The worship space I used to play in had a very high ceiling with an absolutely CAVERNOUS natural reverb, so adding reverb on the guitar signal before it hit the mixer and PA system was actually counterproductive.
I use chorus distortion and delay
wish you would do one for acoustic guitars also.
