The Throne of Tone is Here! A King of Tone & Blues Breaker Combo Pedal!

This is the Warm Audio Throne of Tone. The Throne of Tone is based on two classic pedals which include the King of Tone and the iconic Blues Breaker. This pedal offers a dual channel design, gain and voicing settings along with a presence control for darker sounding guitars or amps. The King of Tone is almost impossible to get unless you want to wait 5 years – this is a great alternative that does a lot more.

  • Warm Audio really sold me after their CE-1 clone, I’ve been collecting high end CE-1 clones every chance I get. Their CE-1 is the first one that is not only as great as the original, it’s better.

  • Here I was wanting to add the Warm Audio Centavo and you intro this awesome dually. For me, I could see this being all I need to add interest into practice. Stop me from messing with multiple pedals and kinda wasting time and focus.

  • ok. i've been looking for a good BB pedal, AND i tried the MXR Duke of Tone and loved it.
you just sent this pedal to the TOP of my "to buy list". that ain't easy, i'm VERY picky. well done Shane.

  • I still need a Warm Audio Tubescreamer to complete the trifecta with this pedal now and the Centavo

  • More pedals needs their own fx loop. I want to put effects on all my effects, and then put effects on each of the stereo outputs while running the original effect in parallel.

    Fractal pedal board ????

  • Fantastic video, congratulations! I'm a fan of Warm Audio, fantastic pedals of the highest quality! (I currently have their Odd, a fantastic overdrive built entirely with a through-hole and a germanium diode inside, in my opinion far superior to the current OCD models). This pedal you're demonstrating in this video will surely make many guitarists happy. I hope Warm Audio decides to enter the territory of us guitarists who love the David Gilmour sound, perhaps with their version of the Electric Mistress flanger that has no volume drop and the CE-2 chorus. Cheers!

  • The wait time for the King of Tone is up to six years, seven months. I put my name down in August 2020, and they're just getting to 28 February 2019 as of 1 October. I bought the MXR/Analog Man Duke of Tone last year because the wait time just kept stretching out (has stretched out further still since then). The Duke of Tone probably meets my needs, but I'll probably keep my name on the wait list to see just how long it ends up taking. The Throne of Tone sounds great, but is probably more than I need now.

  • is it worth getting the bluesbreaker and duke of tone independently or should i just get this for 80 usd less. will they be as good as the real deal?

  • About bloody time, I've been waiting, they haven't missed anything, every option on one pedal, battery or power, 4 inputs. Just awesome. I haven't got a bluesbreaker style pedal, I think this is the one. I may well get the tube squealer too.

  • "Throne of Tone"? Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, I guess. Can't deny it sounds great. Super playing!

  • Thanks for the great demo! I love Warm Audio! I already have a Centavo, and after watching this, the Throne of Tone is in my Zzounds cart! Blues is alive and well! ????

  • Any pedal that gives Shane the "guitar face" is instantly a winner! Looks like I've got another pedal to buy…

  • I like what UA are doing with some vintage gear, only it's too expensive for me. This pedal is quite versatile, I'm sure it'll be great for many folks! Thanks for the review!

  • Beauty of a pedal! I have yet to dive into the "blues" pedals… though I have a clone of a Klon… and Keely's D&M Drive… do they count? Those LACE pickups sound great! Reminds me to build that pickguard with some mid 90s golds I bought a few years ago from a friend… I had a set of them in my 1st Strat, a Plus Deluxe I had made to my specs in'95… sold that guitar 12 years ago… still miss it! Great video as always! ????????????????????

  • Sheesh, sounds quite nice but shameless IP theft. I will stick with my Marshall BB, the OG.
