  • Who wants another video with me doing a blind comparison and picking a winner based on these audio tracks?

  • I will never get rid of my fulldrive 2 it’s not the most boutique…your grandpa probably got one…but I always come back to it

  • You didn't test the Electro Harmonix hot wax duel overdrive..it's always the same old BS pedals are these pedals the only ones you know of? Maybe you should research Electro Harmonix history none of the pedals you tested don't even come close to Electro Harmonix

  • Looking at the list, these are my favorites: Browne Protein, Kingtone The Duellist, Cornerstone Gladio… they successfully hid that shrill high frequency that is constantly present in your tone, especially in the high register? and for the first time I see Nux Ace of Tone and Volta 1987, which are particularly interesting to me! You did a good job, bravo!

  • The King of Tone is still my favorite drive. It’s two identical Blues Breakers which you can mod separately with internal switches. It’s not a BB with a tube screamer.

    Reply
  • Ok so is it the Marshall blues breaker or as the guys on That Pedal Show say it passed of the Boss BD2. Which is it

  • Hands down Duelist sounds best on single coils and has more output than others❤

  • In overdrives, the pedals, knot of tones, volume, gain….and over tones … More powers , will be added one pedals with it ,sound will up to the ceiling….( OD with delays pedals…) ( OD with fuzz ) ( OD with reverb )

  • You've proved my point. They all basically do the same thing. The important thing to do is choose one pedal and then spend a few days finding its sweet spot.

  • Very nice and informative video! Thnxs! I love many of them, The Dane, Longsword, Fulltone etc. Have you tried OKKO Diablo Gregor Hilden signature pedal? I've had that pedal for many years and took it off my board for a time but damn it's back again and shurely it will stay on as a permanant member of my pedalboard. It's really, really good! I place my T-rex Mudhoney II after it and then I have all the drivetones I'll ever need 🙂

  • I was wondering why everyone in the comments was saying Imperium when the Gladio was on the list and then he got to playing the Imperium aaaaand nevermind that sounded killer! They all sound great really but that was a cool flavor

  • Hey Sasha have you ever tried the Lovepedal Amp Eleven? How does that compare with the Dane?

    Reply
  • I have always liked the Lovepedal Amp 11 and I am now using the Jetter Red Square. I have used other dual pedals from JHS and Wampler in the past. Lots of different flavors.

  • So I’m looking for a boost+transparent overdrive. Which would you recommend?

    Reply
  • Almost all of them sounds exactly the same…
If you have an eq pedal on your board, you would not "see" any difference between any of them.

  • Yeah…. I’m watching AGAIN. Because I like to listen to the awesome playing and tones. Yup, I’ll be back again too ????????

  • I have a lot of these but the duelist ends up on the board a lot because of all the switches. I don't use any of them live, but it's really cool when you're putting down tracks and trying to get your eq and clipping to be just right in the mix. BB side on glass and TS side on fat for the win

  • love the video but I'm disappointed you didn't showcase all the settings on the Full-Drive 2. That comp setting is great but the other 2 are much more aggressive, especially messing with the Vintage/Modern switch. Have a few dual OD pedals and it's one of my favorites, especially with an additional boost or EQ of some kind in front of it. But I get it, you can't play with all the settings on each pedal otherwise it'd be a 10 hour video

  • I watched/listened to the whole video. I'm an avid dirt pedals collector as well and it's funny to me how similar the ace of tone sounded to the K.O.T. , which I hate that I should but the Duelist sounds way better to my ears than it ever did. I love mine. The pedal besides the Duelist I'm probably going to go buy now is the Gladio…that just plain sounded good. Different enough to matter yet still not too dissimilar for what close to perfect tone sounds like. The Duelist is tough to beat though…

  • This is the golden age of guitar equipment! There’s so much cool stuff out there that anyone with a job can afford!

  • Anyone who waits 4 YEARS to get a pedal needs their head examined. Buy a clone instead. There’s loads of clones that have an identical circuit with the same high end components and cost a third of the price….OR make your own!

  • my 3 favs from your playing:
    1. Kingtone – The Duelist
    2. Cornerstone Gladio
    3. Heavy water

  • Just got the KOT after a five year, ten month wait. Was on the list so long I forgot about it three or four times. Then almost missed my turn because I was using a different email address. Huge mistake you don’t want to make because your turn depends on the email you used to get on the waiting list.
