Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers. We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. Make sure to discover Agustin Barrios Mangoré, Manuel Maria Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos and many more if you don’t know their compositions already You can find our showroom in 76137 Karlsruhe, Roonstr. 31, Germany

  • I can hear the timber before the guitar is played, just from handling the guitar. The age of the timber does matter. The guitar also needs to be pkayed, not left in a case for new.

  • The Dammann sounds wonderful! It may be old but it hasn't lost a thing. The Marobello-Vailati has a great sound also. This duo should think more about combining forces. The basses blew me away! The Hernandez guitar gets a 'plus' from me because I personally like cedar tops. This is the first time that I have heard a Mengual guitar. I also liked the Boivin – it seemed to have a subdued sound for a spruce top guitar. Thanks for showcasing all of these guitars as well as the luthiers. Gret job. Kudos.

  • maybe the Damann is loud, but don't you hear the woooomering of the chordes, no seperation? He changed his construction, because he couldn't do it tradionally? ….ans I am not a fan of doubbe/lattice ecc.

  • Siccas needs to give a lot more information under the description of the guitar such as the type of finish, dimensions of the guitar, especially thickness of the neck, and for something like the Hrenandez explain why it is half the price. Are these like Jelinghaus who outsources to China, or like Stephen Eden Cadenza who cuts cost in construction details.

  • Great selection of guitars! The Javier Mengual is my choice for this week. The Boivin and Dammann are superb as well! The half in half guitar is in the same category for my taste.

  • Uhmm.. is it possible with an update of the pieces played on the video? As wonderful and varied these guitars are, I'm loving the pieces that are played, too!

I'm still pretty new into Classical Music in general and still exploring a great deal of epic and wonderful composers and artists!
    Cheers!
