Im playing guitar and im intermediate so im currently using an epiphone les paul and im looking for a new strat but classic vibe and fmt affinity series are overpriced in Turkey. Sonic series is perfect for me if i buy a sonic im gonna change the bridge pickups with alnico 5 or 2 and the tuners. sorry for my english ????

Just got one for my partner who is a beginner guitarist. I’m kinda used to Yamahas (been ages since I played guitar tho, mostly play bass now) but this is a pretty damn good guitar. Given some of the ‘beginner’ models that are out there that are almost unplayable, the Squier is a great deal. So glad this series exists for those who are learning or who can’t/don’t want to pay a lot for a guitar. Thank you so much for your review, it was super helpful to hear so many different styles especially.
I recently brought a Sonic. This one was manufactured in Indonesia. Out of the box, the action was good, maybe a little bit high. That was solved in a couple of minutes. The pickup heights were adjusted until the bridge tones matched middle and neck – but that was again very easy and now suits my preferences. I compared it to a Classic Vibe 70. No obvious differences except for one and a half pounds weight and £200. (Certainly nothing worth that extra money).
There was no fret sprout as such, just a hint of slight edginess that was easily taken back with hardly any effort and a fret bevelling tool. No need to adjust intonation or neck straightness – all top class after lowering the action a tiny bit. I'll refit with new strings although the ones it came with are perfectly OK. (ie: not the usual generic skincutters).
All-in-all, it's an excellent guitar for very little outlay.
For practice I used with the outstanding little Sonicake Pocket Master multi-FX unit . Both that and the Sonic are incredible value for money.
Its junk save anothe 100$ and buy a fender.

So at the beginning of the video,in the first one melody when you moved from one chord to another,like slide,there were was something like a squeaky sounds (like on normal guitar),but in all other songs it didn't seem to have those sounds – why is that and what's the difference,maybe,how do you avoid that?

This is a very sweet-sounding guitar (the player's skills bring out those stellar tones).
I briefly held a Sonic Strat a few months ago while a friend of mine was shopping for a new electric guitar. It had such a invitingly playable neck profile. I still think about it to this day and I keep thinking about buying one, even though I already have a Strat (Fender MIM) that is no longer my main guitar.
