The reason YouTubers don’t explain CAGED well is because they keep the details behind the paywall. The fact that this available for free on YouTube is insane. Thank you OP. This helped me apply what I’ve been trying to learn for a while.
Excellent explanation. Great teaching. Thank you.

????????????????????
Well, thought I would never understand the CAGED system. Now I get it. Thank you.
3 years ago i tried to understand CAGED. Left the video defeated. But, this actually made a lightbulb go off.
This is awesome , bless you
Thank you for the great video. The only thing that confused me was, your visual fretboard is reversed from your actual fretboard and it's inverted so the black dots do not actually match what your fingers are doing.
That was comprehensive. A bit to chew and noodle on.
This is awesome
This is awesome
don't listen to people about how to play guitar who play F/C as their F chord by default because barring the first fret is a hassle.
Yes
Extremely comprehensible. I also found it helped me lots when I realised that G and A are variations of the same shape as are C and D which for me reduced it down to THREE variants. To help to see this, G and A have the same triad on the D, G & B strings; C and D have the same triad on the G, B & E strings.
Hey, I still watched the whole video and appreciate it. But as someone who is a fairly new player, this was pretty advanced.
This is super helpful and easy to follow, thank you!
This was amazing! I have been taking lessons for a while. I know I've made progress but I was feeling stuck and frustrated. This lesson helped me to realize that I have learned a lot in terms of theory (triads, chord progressions, inversions, etc) but I'm having trouble putting it all together and just playing, especially in a way that allows me to play with someone else. This was really helpful and it's inspiring me to practice in a new way.
I have been playing guitar on and off since 1987. Like lots of other guitar players, I watch tons of YouTube videos but this is the first time I finally understand what the CAGED system is. That revolving door explanation especially helps. This is going to take my stagnant playing to new levels.
I have small hands and I still have a hard time fitting the right fingers in one fret space to make some of these shapes!
Thank you. I'm gonna credit you in every music endeavor I ever take
