  • So so disappointing that they are charging for the app. $1 is not much….but MOST people can't stand the process of giving your credit card number to YET ANOTHER corporation.
This one extra step will prevent me from buying the device. Corporations are always their own downfall….due to greed.

  • Hi mr Leo, can you use 2 different delays and 2 different revebs in a patch on this pedal? İ mean series not parallel, thank you

  • I like the video you made. You point out the pros and cons of this pedal. Zoom creates a good pedal with a multi-effect. I agree that it takes time to select the effects you want since it responds a little slowly. But connecting to a computer to do the editing will save a lot of time. Other than that, it's a good multi-effect for gigs. Easy to carry, has excellent sounding.

  • Hi Leo. I was wondering if the up, down, left and right buttons for navigation on the upper left corner of the zoom g2x four can be stomped by foot or is it only intended for pressing through fingers?

  • Very nice and complete review, as usual, thanks a lot!!! I have the G2 after having owned the MS50g and I can say the G2 is a hudge upgrade, in terms of sound quality and functionnalities. Moreover G2 much more stable in sound shape when shifting from PA to amp loop return or amp front. I love the G2 for its price, sound and simplicity. Just one thing in the cons : the rythm and loop that you use must be inserted in a block, occupying two slots among the 7 available. And while running the loop and rythm, you cannot move to another preset. Moreover you cannot save a loop. It is lost when you leave the patch where you have created it. Rythm and loop should be created in a global space, and not in a patch. In addition, I wanted to precise that a pedal is note stuck ik the last position in the patch. You can move it to any position, using the "move" tool of general settings. Il really love this pedal, best quality/price ratio on the market imo. (I also tried the Ampero Mini and the Line 6 pod express. Both no keepers for me). Bought brand new 130 euros… Not even the price of an average delay or OD pedal.

  • Zoom g2 four or valeton gp 200? For you what is the best? Can you make a sound comparison between these 2 pedals?

  • Can you set the default starting position when activating stompbox mode? For example i want the 3 foot switches assigned after the amp (example: 2 mods, 1 delay). Or does it always show the 1st 3 blocks when you activate it?

  • Excellent video, good job guy ¡¡¡¡¡ Regarding G2Four i feel that it sound very very good. I am thinking to purchase it in 2024. External IRs sometime is a headache. If the internal IRs are very optimized for the guitar pick strike…

  • Leo Gibson. Just the perfect name for a guitar reviewer. I love you man!!! Great review great music. Always a treat to watch you perform and comment on these products. I bought a Ms50g+ just because why not. Hahahah

  • Can you record with it a clean dry tone of the guitar Via usb interface ? Just like the Line 6 Tone Port? What's the latency then ?

  • I still use my super old PS02 (has a killer emulation section) and now have the Zoom R4 multitrack. That has some effects and amp combos and got this Zoom G2x Four because it has two effects I wanted from the R4. I also wanted a backup rig to mirror my presets in the old PS02, which are really fantastic. Mine is arriving this week and snagged a used unit and will report back.

  • Great review, as always with Leo. I'm here to be a little picky, though… Hehehe.

Leo, are now the Trident or the ME-90 screens the worse ones that you've ever used? Both are smaller than the Zoom's one… Just saying. And that units are around double the price.

  • Thanks for another great video. My question is could you detect the layered ir technology in your touch or when using the volume knob of the guitar. If so, that what explain the inability to load 3rd party irs.

  • Hi! Thx for this share ????, i want tu put it in the loop of my marshall sv 20 only for a couple of effects like delays, reverb and chorus, do you think it s possible? Thks

  • I was thinking about getting one, but I already have a G3XN that seems more versatile, at least it let's me use multiple cabinets with each amp. They really need to work on that ugly screen! Lol

  • Maybe I missed it in the video but, is it possible to turn off the cabinet section? I have a buddy looking to buy a multi effects unit that is pretty simple and he would just run it through an amplifier no need for the cab simulation or IR in this case.
