That's why all ACDC songs sounds all the same
I don’t always use pedals, but when I do, I use no pedals.
TURN IT UP. Angus effects.
Bare knuckled Angus has his heavy rock distortion naturally. I need pedal at 10 to come even close to that.
Actually he has his wireless that boosts signal. SVDS is what it is called. It is not a pedal but it is on the signal path.
I highly doubt it.
Well it's this same story with EVH, but now we all know that there is some other things in the chain. Angus has the Schaffer, which adds gain! EVH had the echoplex, which also had a boost.
Karaoke
His wireless system boosts his signal hitting the amp some too, like a treble booster, it was just the nature of wireless systems back then, but it’s a part of his tone none the less,
Wow. Genius. I wonder if he knows you can buy a power supply for your pedals? Or, wait for it, extra batteries????. I've never had a pedal with a fresh battery "conk out" on me mid solo. But hey, evolution has to happen. The dinosaurs died off and made the world a better before, nothing wrong with it happening again????????
Angus young is awesome, but it's a one dimensional form of awesome. He gets ONE good sound and plays the shit out of it. However, I feel it's far more natural for guitarists to want to have more VARIETY: Wah, tremolo, reverb. Imagine if Hendrix played Band of Gypysys WITHOUT his univibe.
No pedals to the guitars, no chemicals to the veins, that's Angus Young for you…⚡
Just good old hard rock !!
I think I have used that effect before.
Could you imagine if Angus and Malcom got into the 80s scene really big and started using synths , chorus/delay pedals and dressing goth with a drum machine
Funny to put a picture of Kirk Hammett with a white SG in there….
Marshall made in England is all you need and of course Angus????
Yes Nugent also
I actually figured this out a few days ago when me and my little brother were jamming out in our basement
A song where you can hear him alternating between clean and distortion is in Rock n' roll ain't noise pollution
Can't knock the success of his approach but you'll go deaf ! ???? .. Huh.. what's that .. I can't hear you ????????♂️ ????????
Yeah no.
He's way too busy on stage to use pedals.
Duh…
After purchasing a few pedals, I realized I could get the same sound just with my amp.
The bands name is
AC/DC. ????????❤️
NOT AC DC. ????
Yeah, I don't know why people use so many petals when you can already have distortion on the amp. I mean like I used orange amps. I've never used a Marshall, but I'm pretty sure that A Marshall stack has distortion without any pedals
Sure!)
He does but its a custom handmade boost and its in a rack and its basically set to .5/10 he hardly uses it and its only to make up for loss over his wireless. Its in his rig rundown video.
I saw a video of his rig run down. The gain on his stack is set to 3. The guy is playing clean which is why his tone is hard to replicate, people add way to much distortion.
Did you know AC/DC had among the 1st wireless pre-amps in their guitars?
Did you know AC/DC's sound requires amps set to self destruct and would require tube replacements during concerts? (When they used tube amps)
Did you know, no kidding AC/DC didn't use modultion?
Did you know AC/DC's signature sound is solid state based?
That's why I love raw sound of ACDC..
Damn shame that you would post this WITHOUT the legendary quote from Angus, when he was asked if he uses effects: "I plug a Gibson straight into a Marshall. I'M THE 'EFFECT!"
Old School works
