I like both sounds, but this is a comment about worship tone in general. Sometimes we get so caught up in pulling the guitar so far back that it just sounds sterile, generic, and without conviction. I started taking the approach about a month ago that I would not alter my sound to something other than what I would play if I was playing a secular song of similar style, if that makes sense. In other words, not something anemic just because Im in church. That change was been extremely well received. Why do we limit ourselves?
How to dial that first and 2nd tone?
"I like clarity"…. "it washes all together"…. wow, crappy washed out tones are better than crappy distortion? I honestly don't understand you "worship" music people.
Yes, the 2nd one… how can I get that?
Whats your presets? Whats your pedals?
Cloud?
First tone can still be used for Planetshakers type of songs. ????
Whats the program you use called?
Thanks
For my signal chain I usually like to manually fold in the DI signal at, like, -15dB just to get a little more note definition at high distortion levels. Slight EQing is also a must. But most of all, you usually need a little less distortion than you think you do!
I liked the first tone
I totally agree
