I pick with the plectrum and touch the string with my ring finger nail at the same time. Works every time for me.
Is it possible to make this sound if you have a small dinkier amp? Im struggling ????

For some reason it's almost impossible for me to play pinch harmonic on higher strings higher frets ,eg. high e 23rd fret.
