I’ve heard you on other instruments… you’re very good. That guitar sounds horrible.✔️
Thank you mate! Karl here, In the "states" – Scale length? Fret radius, or flat? Strap button(s)? Output jack – 1/8" or 1/4", or both? The Yamaha 'silent'' is pretty flexible, 2x the $… I've got the Cordobas, and a Godin (WITH the resonator 'tines'), so, just like to stay on top of the new offerings, thanks again!
What’s that phasey sound?
Looks like a wide neck. The sound is nice.
I have the electric and acoustic versions. They are by far my daily drivers. I so want this one, but it’s $100 more than I’m willing to pay.
I love how quirky these are. I’d much rather have a cheap guitar that’s quirky and can be tinkered on vs a four figure premium guitar.
How long is the battery life and can you recharge it or do you always have to buy a new one?
I bought the steel string version and mine had a really high action. Even after I lowered the bridge and adjusted the truss rod it was still unplayable. So I contacted Donner and they sent me another one and told me to keep the first one. The second one was setup into a playable condition. So now I have spare parts from the first one.
Thanks. Discount and aeolian wow!
You convinced me, and the 15% discount works in the UK on the Donner website too. Top man!
grow some nails and the terible strings will be more pronounced sounding. plucking an un-wound string without a plektrum does not produce/ring out like a wound string.
I like the sound of this, but please tell me which model of Taylor guitar you use when you’re sharing your music with us? I imagine someone asked this question before, but I haven’t. Thanks Rob!
Do you think this one could take strings heavy enough to drop to baritone range? That chorus sounds great fingerstyle.
Why don’t they do their market research and and ask us players what we want and make a product that works well not something that gets half way to being good. It baffles me
With a slight tweak to the truss rod, the guitar was great straight out of the box. I could fit my old Donner Hush in my suitcase, but it must have shrunk, as the Donner Hush C requires me to purchase a new one. Overall, this Donner, with its wider neck, is rather good and worth purchasing, and especially at the moment, Donner is offering a discount.
Hi and thank you for your review. If indeed the high E string is at a lower volume, that would be a deal breaker to me. The purpose I would buy this is to have as a backup for the cordoba that I usually play live with. Is there a way to adjust the volume of the strings?
Thanks again!
Amazing ????
I don’t like the feel , nor the need for headphones .. I’ll buy a cheap guitar for the cargo hold
It will fit in my Grey Bin, the Bin men come Thursday, take a Ukulele on holiday instead, you can get 2hours practice in waiting for the Wife to put her makeup on, best so called Silent/Travel guitar is without any doubt is one of the Yamaha’s
It doesn't sound silent to me,!
Didn't you already show this guitar a little while back?
