Wish they made it as a strap mount with a socket instead of a plug. I'd want the unit in a more accessible place like to make the controlls more useful. Also seems like it should have wireless built in.

Are there direct monitoring settings so you can have only audio piped back via USB from daw? I didn't see any, seems to be missing sometimes from products like this. Mighty plug pro has it but it doesn't store your setting between on/off sadly.

This is an insanely good practice tool. I'm definitely buying one. The problem is it's still missing 3 features that would make it PERFECT.
1. Ability to jam along to actual music. Could be bluetooth or some kind of connection via the tonex app.
2. Real drum sounds instead of just a metronome. Doesn't have to be extensive, just basic genres and a variety of beats.
3. A looper so you can jam, compose and record all with one device.

Can you use this device as an audio interface to play NAM (GigFast for ex) profiles?
Thanks for showing this – it looks interesting BUT… I think most people know what the ToneX software platform can do. We have seen over and over in multiple products. I didn't see much about the physical traits of this new product. Why did you use a guitar with a top mounted jack? Are there problems with it connecting to a Strat jack or a side mounted jack, such as a Les Paul or Ibanez guitar? How sturdy is the swivel plug? Is it going to break in 6 months? How about the battery? Can the battery pack be replace once it stops holding a charge? These are the things people want (or should want) to know! THANKS!
Jason, so I can take a guitar 1/4” plug and go from ToneX plug straight to my power amp for stage or FOH for live performance?

No Bluetooth meh … I love my tonex and might have jumped but no Bluetooth I’m out, I’ll stick with the mustang micro plus for jammin convenience.

We need someone to get the tonex control app to see if plugging a USB C straight in will enable you to change presets on tonex one!
how's the latency? i've tried the irig hd2 and it just has too much latency to be able to record reliably.
Hi Jason, did you see that the input trim guidelines have been updated? Finally, IK! Now this makes sense: leveling the signal level independently of the pickup's power. And there's no more talk about clip, which led to a very wrong interpretation by users. (I included myself).
"Trim-In: Adjusts the input gain to match the output level of the
instrument, ensuring optimal signal levels. The slider allows fine
adjustment from –15 dB to +15 dB, with the current value displayed
numerically in the center."
Man, I've loved my Katana Go for the last year and a half and I love my Tonex One….but this seems like the best of both worlds!
Interesting…. one thing this does show is that the processing power to play a Tone Model must be quite low. Surely a Tonex device that can run two (or more!) Tone Models can't be far away!
Is the built in amp actually capable of driving a decent set of headphones? Like my HD 600 which are 300ohm?

Eccellent! I have a couple of questions. 1) does it support incoming bluetooth audio? 2) can it record OTG via the USB C port directly to a smartphone/ipad?
When connected to the app, can you use bluetooth headphones paired to the phone to hear what you're playing?
At this point, the only logical next steps are a big ToneX pedal with full Amplitube support, and an internal kit for installing directly inside a guitar with buttons and switches similar to the Roland GK-KIT-GT (minus pickup).

Ich sehe den Vorteil, dass es mit diesem Gerät von tonex keine Brummgeräusche oder Einstreuung beim aufnehmen in die DAW gibt.
Mit dem Tonex Pedal gibt es schon mal Masse und Erdungsprobleme am USB Anschluss.
Da ich auch einen HX Stomp XL besitze und das Tonexpedal kombiniere benötige ich diese Equipment nicht.
Für Gitarrenanfänger die viel unterwegs sind bestimmt eine gute Option.
Mir reicht das Pedal und ich bin damit zufrieden????
