Hey there Clint, how do you compare PRS SE NF 53 to your PRS SE Custom 24 quilt top? You haven't recorded any new vids with it, any reason..? Btw, awesome skills!
I have a SE 595 and thinking about this or the custom 24. What are your thoughts between the two ? ????
I have a few Tele's & was curious about the NF53, but I've never been able to bond with any PRS neck I have tried, just never feels right & couldn't get the tone I was after. So I bought one two months ago & now after several gigs, it is my #1. Finally a PRS neck I bonded with! The pickups fall somewhere in between P90 & humbucker. Not exactly traditional Tele tone, but you can get close on the bridge, clean setting, compressor, will give a passable Tele tone. Otherwise I mostly stay on the middle…for me it's a perfect LP / Tele hybrid guitar & sounds great in a live mix.
