  • You have to update firmware and stuff? It's a cool amp. Hard to see how you could do wrong with it. Seems like a great starting point to find a sound and explore more options within a sound.

  • I love Marshall , but no this is a terrible amp. if you cant go loud don't bother, the dsl1 (a 1 watt vale amp) and a simple pedal board is the way for this price, pedals are so much better value at this price point

  • The only thing Marshall about this amp, is the plastic Marshall tag on the front. This amp is crap

  • Even better with the most recent firmware? Marshall is top notch and their customer support is outfnstanding!
Remember to turn the cab sims off if using just the amp. Cab sims on for running to a mixer, p.a., or using usb to record. Enjoy ????‍????????????

  • I have the code100 and I don't like it at all. It has nothing to do with the fact that it's a digital amp, because I also have a Boss katana which I like a lot. But the tones on the Marshall are just to harsh. No matter how much I fiddle with the knobs or in the app, I just don't seem to find a setting that I like. Perhaps a speaker swap would do it more justice, but then how much would you have to invest in it without a guaranteed improvement.

  • I want an amp or sim to sound good, and to have an aux in and headphone out as I usually practice at night. I just ordered one of these. Real vs plain – I don't care. Just sound good and don't break down.

  • Hi! I just bought the amp. So far I LOVE it. My question is, does it has a built in noise gate??

  • Has anybody use this amp in a live setting small or large club or even bigger other than just a practice amp

  • He says “I can’t remember”.. a lot. How can he not remember the first amp he owned..? It’s not like it could have been 50 years ago.

  • I have a Katana mkII, Line 6, and a Spark. I'm defineatly getting this next. I have way too many plugins to list also. Plugins are great for recording and playing in headphones but physical amps are hard to beat otherwise.

  • Did you say you can plug this directly into your computer with USB? Do you use an audio interface? I'm very new to recording

  • I sold mine after 5 months putting up with this electronic cicada that penetrates your ears with its punzant fuzzy emision. Unbearble. I sold it for 100 euros and complelty new. Uf, I felt some relief.

  • I was feeling the same way, actually, for some years concerning amp sims. I was really into them and felt like I didn’t need anything else, but after a while I got tired of the responsiveness of them. The Neural DSP stuff is pretty realistic, but I started missing playing on a real amp earlier this year. As a result, I’ve been getting pretty obsessed with amps lately.

But yeah, I’d rather play on my little Joyo Bantamp Zombie 2 than the Neural DSP Plini if I’m going to be sitting and playing only… and not recording/writing on the computer. There is something about it that feels way better to me. It’s more of a feeling issue rather than a sound issue for me.

  • My 20w Line 6 blows this amp out of the water for tonal quality. Marshall missed by a country mile with this hunk of dung. It has a thick, muddy, fuzzy, "boxy" / "tinny" sound that sounds like you're playing through a broken a.m. radio. I couldn't even get a usable distortion tone with a 7 band graphic EQ. Don't waste your money on this trash like I did.

  • I just bought the 25 yday and I'm already regretting it. Definitely, A) custom presetting, B) going to use it as natural as possible working with plugins/pedals, C) gonna use my 15W AG15 amp by Acoustic
