  • Dean, please do more with Scott! You two are my all time favorite guitarists. So cool to see and learn from you both.

  • So who is this guy? Not sure why his name isn't mentioned. Is it supposed to be obvious?

  • Dive in deep/oceans of grief/ inside of me dissolving/ Embryonic dreams of old memories/ are violently flowing out

This part of Kaleidoscopic Waves might be the pinnacle of musical expression so far achieved by humanity to this point. It's up there with ode to joy…. You guys are geniuses and it's so hard to deep dive your catalog because I'm so hooked on the first few songs I've heard

  • Came across his twitch channel randomly the other day when he was streaming. Apart from the amazing playing, he answered a lot of questions I had about soloing with modes and intervals. Hell of a player.

  • If you're trying to create something catchy without melody, it has to be catchy rythmically or texturally (timbre or tone).

  • I've been listening to Fallujah since their first album. Their newest album is probably my favorite of this year.

  • Scott wonโ€™t see this but I listened to fallujah in high school and Iโ€™m 28 now I love them so much their sound is a unicorn of metal

  • "Like uh, let's see" HA. Scott is insane. Fallujah is amazing. Bummed I can't catch the Entheos/Fallujah/ZP tour but wishing them a killer tour.

  • Scott has been one of my fav guitarists for the past 10 years and Fallujah USED to be my fav band for years. But I just dont like the new line up, I feel like the new guys dont fit with the greatness that is Scott Carstairs. Brian James was the perfect 2nd guitarist with Fallujah writing one of their best albums and songs (Carved From Stone, Sapphire, Dreamless album. What happpened to him?

  • Dean I would really appreciate if you could put the name of your guest or topic in the description. Thanks for the good work otherwise.

  • He might be the best, but if you don't put his name on the clip then how will we know who he is?

    Reply
  • Scott and Sam are by far my favorite two modern metal players and it's not even close.
