  • It’s a Toyota vs Porsche.
You can drive both, but one has leather, forged rims, and lasts 20 years.
The other has plastic seats and needs $600 in mods to stop rattling.

  • Only question is which one stays in tune after five minutes of playing. If all good then I’ll take a squire.

  • Any neanderthal could hear one sounds like $5000 dollars better! No wait sorry I meant the custom shop is worth it if a logo is worth an extra $5000, but if you are judging value by using a foolish aspect like the sound of a musical instrument the difference is negligible. I get it if money isn't a factor and you just want a custom shop strat in your hands I get it it's just cool it makes you feel warm, fuzzy and happy hell yeah but just admit it don't try n justify it with dumb claims of tone and unmatched craftsmanship blah Blah, there are tons of Les Paul copy that are better and cheaper than a Gibson but I still want a Gibson, there's a reason slash doesn't play for firefly even tho he could get up and play an entire concert with a firefly and from the audience no one would know the difference 100% but he loves the heritage growing up watching his heros rip it up on a Gibson and obviously he's going to be partial to certain years having variances like weight neck size so on with FF there's one version in different styles you better like it or you are SOL.

  • Squier holds up well. The other two has tighter bass response. Noticeable but nominal.

  • Fucking love my squier tele. I’d say it’s the second best sounding one here. If your a beginner or even if you play professionally, the squier affinity will work like (or very near) a “real” fender everytime especially for the price.

  • No se por qué percibo que la squier tiene un sonido más balanceado y las otras como que les falta comer para tener peso. ????

  • I have a Squire affinity FMT telecaster Squire affinity telecaster, Mex telecaster, American strat and G&L FULLERTON ASAT classic.
The Squires are good guitars especially if you put tonerider hot classic pickups in it for the money ❗ BUT there is a BIG DIFFERENCE with the squires and the other guitars , with the feel & sound of the guitar ‼️ Squire is NOT equivalent to the other guitars ‼️ I like my Squires BUT NOT AT ALL THE SAME AS THE OTHER GUITARS ‼️

  • Bright and smooth, Now guys it is because of Fenders have more accurate low mid signals so the guitar sounds with a built in reverblike darkness. It is not losing brightness it is the added spaciousness to it's sustain and overall sound. So the American models giving those signature Fender tones we hear in albums and movies. When you strum they will most likely give you that vibes. But Squier at the other hand sounds like a legit Fender that you only need to manually control the tone with more pedals. In the stage though it is easy to make a Squier sound just like a Fender American with the right setup and EQ

  • Squier sounds a bit thin, American sounds a bit scooped and the CS souds seriously well balanced. But for the price, I'd go for the Squier anyway.

  • The squier is a little more metallic and twangy, the others are more mellow and bassy.

    All great.
