i might be wrong, but I think he likes HD28's.
Very little difference between any of these guitars for 99.9% of players.
I have a hd28, d35, d18 d16 and 000-28. They all sound different and they all sound great. I would have to sale them all to afford the authentic version but it might be worth it.

58957. The guy knows the history and how many people would say that BUT NO ONE will ever pull the tone out of it like Tony could. Ask Bryan Sutton the story about him and 2 other pro players playing it when Tony was in the studio with them. None of them could make it sound the way they heard it for years except TR. The greatest acoustic player ever.
