Are D’Addario XT Extended Life the Best Classical Guitar Strings?
After neglecting my guitars for too long I’ve strung up my Yamaha Classical Electric with D’Addario XT Classical Extended Life Silver Plated Copper Strings. I’ll be posting another video to compare how well they hold up after a month or two using the same recording settings.
I’ve always liked silver plated strings on Classical Guitar but they usually don’t keep their bright tone for too long.
Here is my Amazon paid affiliate link for the strings used in this video.

That is a beautiful sounding guitar. Wonder if Yamaha do these in a left hand model?? Will have to check. As for the strings, I've been using the same ones for about a year and a half now. The wound strings have a beautiful crisp clarity to them.
1:23 what music u play sir? I want learn next time but didn't know the song
Thank you! So, you think is much different from the regular EJ45 ?
Hi, what model guitar is that? Im interested
Nice, I'm jonesing to try something different on my classical too. I'm replacing tuners so this is a good opportunity. Asturias was sounding good tho ???? but I feel that not wanting everyone to see how the sausage is made ????
What pickup system do u used? Tks
Sir, what is the model of the guitar you have in this vedeo, and how do you like it? I am shopping for a cutaway with pickup, and possibly with a crossover nut width 1+7/8.
How are you liking the strings 9-10 days later?
