Big Acoustic Guitar Sounds At Solo Gigs
In today’s episode we’ll take a look at the TC electronics Sub N Up Octave pedal and the Porchboard bass. Both of these tools can be used in conjuntion with an acoutisc guitar for a powerful one man band setup. I’ve always searched for ways to sound “bigger” when playing solo gigs, these tools can help player accomplish that goal.

You are fortunate to have a great strong country voice.
Crank it up to 10? This one goes up to 11
You got a good singing voice
Bonjour. Pourriez vous me donner votre avis sur la pédale OPFSX Dig Deep , par rapport et en comparaison avec votre pédale TC. Merci.
????????????????
Have you done a comparison to the OC-5?
If i need headphones to hear the benefit of that pedal then what's the purpose?
Nice!
what is better, sub and up or the OCT-5 boss?
What's the name of this tune?
nice song man!!!
Sounds great. I have the Sub & Up pedal but never thought of using it in this way. BTW way you have an awesome voice. Did you take singing lessons?
Not a very clear demonstration! No before and after, in and out of the devices. For all the blabbing and the really long song…what was the enhancement of the gear?
she sounds great mate
Condoms for real acoustic music.
Love my porch board… looking at octave pedals this helped
just use a BOSS oc-5 it only puts octave on the lower E and A strings
I thought it sounded great
Dig Deep pedal is better for eliminating bass sound on upper strings. I dont like octavers that effect first 3 high strings. Dig Deep can isolate them, and its easy to adjust – plug and play
The Boss OC3 and OC5 has been the go to for a long time and all the top players have been using it. Ou can also set it so that it only creates subs for the lower two strings
Coming to this late, love it. I do solo acoustic gigs with a good voice and competent strumming guitar, and love simple dashes of variety to add interest. In addition to my chorus pedal which I use strategically, there's a very good chance I'll add this. Super song and outstanding performanc btw.
