is it solid Sides and Back? ..that usually does the prolonged sound time….
I own a cort its at my mums. I oicked it the other day it had been ten years. Strummed it was like. Wow its lively. I didn't realize it was solid topped. 130 euros in rome italy. Cheap yet serious instrument
5 years ago I bought a Faith legacy which is basically the same guitar. In the store I compared it to two well known USA made guitars which cost a chunk of money more and the Faith was way better.
Guess I’ll have to Google the full specs of this guitar which is something you failed to mention in this video. All you did was tell us that you liked it. Waste of time this video is.
Wish it wan’t mostly sales talk and very little "guitar’..
I have heard some GREAT soundinig Cort acoustics out there, including in the Gold series – a cutaway I saw demo'ed. Very impressive.
i have this guitar in its darker color and the sound is amazing warm and clear. i play it sometimes in open G and the chords ring out. usually finger picking . the sound is just beautiful. the 1 11/16 neck is comfortable. i had it set up by my luthier and he put slightly lighter strings on it. my favorite over far more expensive guitars in my collection.
One of your best videos ever. I agree with what you’re saying about what we should be thinking about when playing guitar. I like the look and sounds this Cort makes ????????????
The best guitar I've ever owned or played, cost $400, is my Firefly "Martin D45 Style" model. If it didn't have a different style head stock and say Firefly on the head stock, you'd swear it's a Martin. I bought it and two others, a Parlor style and another Dreadnought with over the top fret board Tree of Life inlays. I installed a Baggs Anthem in the D45 which cost just a little less than the guitar itself. I got them this past summer off the website. It was a small batch drop that sold out in less than a week. All solid wood, the $600 one with Cocobolo and Bear Claw spruce, the D45 in Indian Rosewood and Sitka, the Parlor is Indian Rosewood and Sitka, Ebony fret board and bridge, stainless steel ball end frets, real abalone and pearl, quality hardware, bone nut and saddle. It's unlikely these will be available again, the cheaper models took their place on the website and no more of the all solid wood guitars are available. If you missed them you're out of luck because they were all RINGERS, guitars of far higher value than what was paid for them. Companies will do this sometimes in order to create Brand Name awareness thru word of mouth and social media. It works, everyone who has one of these knows how good they are. I hope they do it again with different models, next time Gibson style acoustics would be nice?
Some youtube blues wizzard -can´t remember his name right now, was also very surprised about his new Cort model.
Music stores in my area only carry Martins, Gibsons and Taylors. I never get to try out any of these other brands.
Amazing guitar. Wise words. Thank you!
Cort make fantastic guitars I had a Cort core spruce all sold wood I paid £350 brand new solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides with a bone nut and saddle amazing quality and value
List Price: $699.99MAP Price: $449.99 I am a Cort dealer, and I really need to buy one of these for myself. Nice review video Jeremy! Nice playing too.
That's a nice-sounding guitar.
How much is it?
{:o:O:}
Nice sound
Where are the made? Just curious…not important. It does sound great. It's gorgeous but you're right about the headstock. They should have put more thought into that. Just looked at the price. Headstock becomes just fine for roughly $400! Great starter. But you hit on so many points. I own a lot of offshoots like Epiphone and some of them blow my American guitars away. It's all in the way you set them up. Parts, etc.
Beautiful Sound great looking! Bewell!
