  • I bought a black Cordoba Fusion 5 in September 2024. I was looking for a nylon string with a slightly narrower neck than my standard classical guitar.

I enjoy the Fusion 5 very much. It is a good size for me, is easy to hold. The action was good right out of the box. With a 48mm nut width, fretting was much more comfortable than on my classical. It came with Savarez high tension strings, per the online specs. It's easy to strum and finger pick. My biggest complaint is there are no buttons for a strap. It is starting to lose its warm classical sound, so I've ordered some new strings. ????

If someone is used to playing high end, expensive guitars, I would imagine they would be somewhat disappointed with this instrument. But for $500 it is perfect for me at my level of playing.

  • The buzzing doesn't come through on your video. I don't think I would send it back. It could change throughout the year. It's real wood if you don't want one that's problematic get a laminate guitar. The guitar's sound comes from the pickup anyway through an amp or PA. Doesn't matter what it's made of, but that spruce top will sound better as it gets older. I know guitars I have many. Think it over before you send that back, you got it for a good price.

  • I’ve an 80s Yamaha CG-150cca which was Yamaha early crossover guitar which l bought in 1990. It’s a cutaway solid Cedar top with Yamaha’s own electronics. The neck is smaller than a classical guitar too. I abdolutely adore it, sounds amazingly good unplugged or plugged in. I used it many times in gigs with my band. It cuts cleanly and clear.
