  • I recently was given an Ashthorpe B27. I am use to a much much higher quality instrument. I was actually shocked at how good a full bodied it sounds. It took a while to get the neck and body to settle down and stay in tune. Tightening up the screws on the tuners helps. Very Impressed for a budget guitar. It's a sleeper for sure.

  • I would so paint a Flamingo on the bottom right (Standing when being played) and a palm tree on the headstock (Or opposite the cut-away)!

  • I bought it like 4 months ago, used 4 times, because I don't know what kind of tuner I should get for it. Do you have any recommendations

  • Are the extra strings that come with Ashthorpe? What tension are they and how thick are they? When I buy it, I want to buy extra strings just to be safe, even though I already have one. I'd like to know which strings I can use with this guitar and other similar ones from the brand.

  • I sent em an email I know a person that wants to start learning but they may prefer a left-handed they're sort of ambidextrous but I think they are left-handed mostly, I'll take them to the Guitar Center where they can try some left and right-handed guitars

  • Not bad for 100 bones!
Thank you for the honest reviews of cheaper gear. It gives a realistic view on what to expect.
