Thanks Brandon, in the name of all young players and parents of them.

Is nut width measured from end to end or from 1st string to 6th string?
Which 7/8 are you playing in this video
I'm getting ready to buy my next classical guitar. Found a few local luthiers in Colorado where I live, but am also open to buying a used guitar. My $550 alvarez MC90 masterworks has been great but I've grown as a player to need something more pro level, and I'm no pro. Been playing 31 years this year. Classical only a fraction of that total time.
Brandon did great thank you
As someone also named Brandon, I freaking love this guy!
They just wanna sell you the premium stuff
What size would you compare to the ones that the artists 1800-1850 wrote on?
If you had to recommend a size for a 5'7 man, what would it be? I've got a pawn shop dreadnought steel guitar and it has always been too big to learn on for me. Full size classicals feel good, but I'm shopping before I buy, so to speak.
Is there a list of what instruments these are specifically? I'm looking in the sort of Cordoba c3-c7 range and comparables for my first instrument, but I am interested in all of what you've shown here.
I enjoy playing Cordoba C10 European Spruce Top. Alhambra, Ramirez are also very good guitar's. But professional guitarists get luthier made. I totally agree with this professional guitarists. All wood with the Spanish Heel Construction is very important.
All hail Brandon, the vampire king of all plucked instruments doing what he does best: explaining things simply to us short lived mortals.
Guillaume asks some very good questions! You can also see he has genuine interest in what Brandon has to say, which makes for a great interview.
I hope Guillaume will now pick up a nylon string guitar from time to time!
I have Yamaha, CGS 172FS flamingo I love it action is really low. Smooth play ing He looks beautiful feels very delicate. Lightweight I love it.
I know this my sound stupid for some (skip it in that case)…. yes, you can try all three string options (Low, Medium and High) just keep in mind something important, in general the higher the string tension, the more your finger will have to work to make a note sound correctly.
So if you are just starting, and already having trouble with bar chords (or if you are not even there yet) and your guitar comes with normal tension strings, theres no point in trying high tension until you are 100% confortable with normal. You can go Low, which may make it easier, and then move back to normal tension.
Other reasons to try different strings and tension (specially low tension ones), are if you are older and hands start losing strenght and/or fingers start to hurt.
Brands usually show the total tension of the set (or string by string) printed in the box, or you may find it on their website. Because NORMAL tension it may not be the same "actual tension" of the set for brand A and B.
I use a guitalele as my travel classical. Size of a baritone uke with the standard tuning. And 7/8 with 50mm nut is my fav.
????
Looks like a great Hanika Guitar, PC50?? Great Sounf, best Tuner, could be played loud and soft too, best resonating Guitar!
..so if I'm a small person with small hands and struggle to play higher up the neck ( nearer the nut ) then I'd be better off with a 7/8th guitar and the smaller size plays as good as a full size? I needed to hear this… Thank you..
This was great, thanks for putting it together,
Moins saccadé plus coulé limpide
Great to see/hear Brandon at Thomann. I'd love to see him taking a plunge into hybrid guitars, such as Santos ❤❤❤❤❤
Sor Hands
(You're welcome)
Bach…very nice !
No thrill
Brandons "Pop" is The Beatles. Further proof he is a vampire
thank you sir, it helps.
Does it enhance your playing experience, and can you afford it. I think tone is so subjective that it doesnt even matter. If you basically have to train your ear to know what 'good' sounds like, you might as well just not, and be blissifully ignorant.
Thank you so much.
Which sets of steel strings can I buy for these? I want to tappity tap with a lot of twang, and play Spain in a jam session.
5:47 hm again…
such a fine guitarist!
FCK! Barrios La Cathedral was litterally the first serious piece I learned on guitar!
Finally real guitars ????.
That piece is so hard for me to play. I’ve never quite got the hang of it. It’s really easy to stumble over yourself while playing jt.
Brandon, of course, plays it beautifully.
Brandon Rocks
Funny enough he played all the Peace i lerned in my classical phase
Enough of nylon guide we need SILKY HAIR GUIDE ????️????️????️
