  • Really great story and review. Are you still happy with your Nashville? It sounds great even through Youtube

  • Get your facts straight mate, you got one thing right, matons are fantasticly great quality guitars, and will hold their own against any others.

  • Well, you sure nailed it with the comment…'for a pickup to sound that good it has to come from a great guitar'…Absolutely!

  • Maton guitars sound great plugged in, play great and they are great gigging guitars. I really want to love their acoustic tone but to my ears it just aint there

  • My EBG808TE has Queensland Maple on the back and sides. Mine is a Tommy Emmanuel with the AP5 Pro pickup

  • 1. Tune the guitar please
    2. Blackwood is not a relative of Mahogany
    3. It’s Joe Robinson not Richardson
    4. Tune the guitar please

  • Adam, I picked up a Maton 808 Nashville from Artisan about a month ago. I have since sold my Martin GPCPA1 and have replaced it with the Maton as my main gigging acoustic. I agree with everything you said in your video. I'm now on the hunt for a Maton Messiah. Just great instruments! Nice review.

  • Australian Blackwood is actually a type of native Acacia tree, it would be related to Hawaiian Koa. But sonically is in there with Mahogany and Koa.
