I've played a ton of pubs. The 60w model is what you want for gigging pubs if running acoustic standalone. The last thing you want is punters complaining they can't hear you. Anything less will run out of steam very quickly. 30w is great for a house party but not a British pub, with the inevitable high ceilings. You get what you pay for and your gig fees should easily pay for your gear, so be prepared to invest. You can never have too much power; you can always turn it down. Not enough power, on the other hand… ???
I'm considering buying the 30W. How does it respond to soundhole pickups? I'm using an active one (seymour duncan mag mic).
The 15w is NOT a portable gigging amp. I gave mine away to a charity shop within a year of buying it due to how quiet it is. It's pretty much useless.
Oh nice i have a Hartwood acoustic guitar and iām definitely getting this!
