  • These tutorials are so helpful!! I'm finding I know a lot of this already because I have some (very little) experience but there's always something to learn from your videos. Do you have any tips on strumming patterns & singing? I can do both with some basic patterns but nothing too complex.

  • Hi really enjoying your 30 day course and as a senior first timer find your teaching very good. I would like your advise on fingers as I have large flat fingers which do tend to mute the strings next to the ones I am trying to play, any advise would be appreciated.

  • I am 58 years old and always loved the guitar. I am particularly inspired by Ed Sheeran and the way he played. I have just started your course and loving it. There is a lot to learn, however it is broken down into nice easy steps and also the homework is so useful to progress. ????

  • This is so helpful! I learned a bit of ukulele a while back, and this strumming pattern is the main one I learned with that too. However, I never learned that my right arm should always be moving, so it's very nice to have the muscle memory of this strumming pattern already while I establish the habit of moving my arm up and down with the beat and off-beat

Edit: Actually, it wasn't this exact pattern, it was D DU UDU, but this lesson was still super helpful

  • Why does it look like you are strumming up when the arrow show down? it like you going the opposite direction of the arrow. Am I reading it wrong? Up is actually strumming down?
