Can I ????this techer
I don't think I have ever seen an Explorer with a bigsby
Alphonso Johnson played at the bridge position on his fretless long before he retired from Weather Report. Jaco Pastorius was then hired and coincidently played in the bridge position on a bass he had converted to become fretless, with arguably a vaguely similar playing style as Alphonso. If you're going to credit anyone for playing at the bridge position, personally would go for the predecessor: Alphonso Johnson.
What chord proggressions are these?
I think the only thing preventing me from being quick is my short and stubby fingers. Players with longer, slender fingers an attack the frets effortlessly. Are there any hacks for players like myself? Thanks!
Thank u so much, very helpful????????
A couple of years late with this comment, Yonit is a rarity – a great musician AND a great teacher. After playing bass years & years & years, I still learn a lot from this girl. Keep'em coming, Yonit, and I'll keep practicing. Deal?
I like your lessons, I can understand them, I will buy a metronome
Thank you very much form Mr Seabrook even thouhg its 2023 11/28/22 I am late
It will better to learn when you have another camera close up on your left finger.
thank you so much
hack 2 is so cool!
i love your bass tone .. pls show how you record and mix your bass
OH MY GOD, somebody put a Bigsby on an Explorer
es malisimo
wonderfull.
Great video!!!
Liked the video, but get rid of all the crap, mic stand, etc., in front of your face and bass! Very distracting
The one thing that really helped me was taking a metronome to ascending lines I made up. This forced me to get faster with 2 fingers and 3 fingers. To get the economypicking down you want to make descending lines and metronome them to speed as well. Hammer on’s are best learned on the first lesson. The way you learn hammer ons is through slap lines like Hair by graham central station, or left hand tapping. Every bass technique I’ve learned I just figured it out, not trying to plug my channel but you can see proof of my playing in my channel.
Love the angry face during tip #1. Great ideas!
Yonit:" trying playing further from neck"
Me with squier p bass: "wut?"
I thank you for all the time you spend on teaching us on such a great instrument.
Having trouble figuring out you fret and finger movements.
I'm using drum loops for bass practice instead of a metronome
Love your game face. very serious
