5 MUST DO THINGS, Simple Telecaster Mods

In this video, I give you my top 5 modifications to perform on all my Telecaster style guitars. These are all fairly easy mods to perform and will transform your rig into a strong gig ready machine for goodness. The 2 guitars in the video are Firefly guitars that I bought on the internet and love. They are Firefly FFTL Telecaster Style guitars with traditional bridge and headstock. After performing these mods on the $200 dollar guitars, I now have 2 studio ready music machines that are a joy to play. If you get a good Firefly, they can be incredible modifications platforms since they come with all the solid fundamentals of Stainless Steel Frets, Roasted/Flamed Neck, Brass Saddles, Bone Nut, Locking Tuners, and more.

  • This video was nice to watch since I just got a squier classic vibe thinline the other day. Very cool tele for sure. Only thing I hate is the vintage styled fender bridge saddles, and want to replace them with some flat fender style roller saddles. Also have some shorter bridge saddle screws because I hate when they stick up above the saddle. So far the pickups are nice, although I may eventually upgrade to the fender wide range. Those firefly teles look really nice!! Are they stainless steel frets as well? I do a lot of bends and vibrato, and just recently discovered how smooth stainless steel frets slide when you have them nice and polished. I may snag a stainless steel tele style guitar for when I want to really get down on bends and stuff
