Yesterday's $500 is today's $750.
Im lucky enough to have a 1990 USA standard strat, but to change things up i have a couple of budget guitars, The Harley Benton Keith Richards Tele and the Steinberger Spirit, in Black. Only because I've always wanted one after seeing Mark Knopfler and Jack Sonni both using the original expensive versions on Money for Nothing, on the Brother in arms tour in '85
It sucks here in ontario because when you buy stuff you get taxed 13% and it's not factored into the on shelf price so if you buy a 1000 dollar guitar it actually costs 1130 when they ring you up which sucks because it makes budgeting how much you spend on a guitar a little harder

Good luck finding those under $500, especially any S series Ibanez, and I'm surprised how he didn't mention Jackson but spend good amount of time praising the Ibanez. I own several Ibanez but for budget ones, I'd always pick a Jackson Dinky for $300 w/o floating bridge or $400 with the floating bridge and later upgrade the pickups.
What color is that on the Epiphone LP?
2 years later, there is no epihone lp standard under $500, sadly. Sigh.

I mostly agree, but I think the cv tele also has a lot going for it as well ngl. I daily one with some mods, including Seymour Duncan pickups, bronze saddle, and bone nut, and dare i say, it's almost perfect
I love music man guitars, but here in stores they retail well over 1000 CAD, if I get one shipped across the country I'm still sinking almost 900. A little steep for what you'd call a mid tier priced guitar, I mean at 750 CAD in stores its a good deal, excellent value even used at that price, though for the past year I couldn't find one less than 850 CAD anywhere, used included (after shipping). Until today, a lightly used daphne blue CT50 HSS, under 700 CAD all in. Let's just say I still can't really afford it, but at that price, I couldn't afford not to.

I have an Ibanez s-series S470QS and just love it. Very versatile, nice neck, comfortable body.
These guitars are like a 1thousand dollars and up in turkey sadly
It is an SA160, not an S series. You made a 2 part video on that guitar and you forgot all about it

TOP 5 BEST GUITAR FOR HEAVY METALS under 500 dollar
Always nice to see you in action! I bought myself a Harley Benton ST59, the Hank Marwin reiease. Half the price of a Squier Affinity but I think its just as good.
Kluson style tuners, medium jumbo frets, Daddario strings, no sharp fret ends and pickups that in my opinion are better than the pickups in Squier Affinity.
The Gretsch Junior Jet does not come with "Filtertron" pickups!

For less than $500 i can get a Harley Benton fusion iii with a roasted maple neck, stainless steel frets, and a floyd rose 1000. The floyd rose itself is worth than every guitar on this list
How do you get the s series in that color?
What about actual facts? Like are the tuners any good, what are the frets like, string height issues out of the box, is it intonated out of the box? These are things that will affect new guitar players especially.
