The 15g is not bad with a ns-2 and ds-1 set up correctly and pwered with a ac adapter and with the right settings it sounds amazing for what it is. I still would recommend upgrading though if your a beginner save your money to get something bug and nice like a champion 40

Don't ….Fender Frontman is very bad amp.
I picked one up in a second hand shop for £25 in the UK. Its ok for clean sound but I think overdrive or any other effects need adding to it through an effects pedal.
Nobody likes the Frontman 10g…Is this 15g better?
My first brand new guitar that I took lessons for the first time was a gio. I recently got a fender 15g for $20.
I had a Frontman 15G from 1998 til 2005, and I absolutely loved it. So much,in fact that I bought a Fender Frontman 20 last year, and I love this one… It's what works, and I've never been dissatisfied with any bedroom amp that Fender has on the market
