Pinus Radiata,
Is the staple forestry expeort of the New Zealand forestry industry.
I was suprised to hear that it was being used in guitar building as it's fairly soft.
I just bought a electric andnunderestimated how hard it was gon a be and now I'm thinking about sending it back and getting a bass which costs $50 more than the guitar. I hate not having a guitar store close. I can't just rest put both at once. I have to buy then send back then buy again
Great instructional video for someone looking to get into bass guitar. Thank you for preparing and sharing.
Dam the third one is kinda good the one of sunburn that one is good
Next time you’re going to so a bass demo video cut your fingernails for crying out loud! That horrible nail pluck sounds awful and completely ruins the sound of all those basses .
Best basses for beginners: Jay Turser, Ibanez, Cort, Squire, Epiphone, Yamaha, Aria, Sire. Don't pay more than 350-400 bucks! A last recomanation, 4 strings and long scale bass. Come on! Play! When you became a professional musician and make money you can buy yourself a amazing (and expensive) Fender, Gibson, Fodera, Amebic, Rickenbaker, a premium range Hofner…and if you want or need a 5 or 6 strings bass, short or medium scale bass or fretless bass.
Harley Benton are just as good at a fraction ..£€
The 50s CV has a single coil pickup, not a split coil… and it does make difference in how it sounds.
Im advanced bass player so are they good for advanced bass players????
I want a bass for cheap that has active pick-ups for I can play fieldy style slap bass like click click clicky click
Great video. Very informative…
So, I’m thinking of the Ibanez Talman TMB100 as my second bass because my first bass is a £80 3/4 Gear4Music bass, Would you recommend me to put in a little bit more money and get the Squier jazz? Or is Talman fine? My band are a rock band of all kinds and I use my G4M (it’s a p-bass style thing) for metal stuff. I’m looking for stuff with a bridge pickup because that’s my favourite place to pick but my current doesn’t have a bridge pickup. I also want a bass that I WON’T want to upgrade. I like vintage tones mostly but I would like a nice versatile bass. If you could tell me which Is better (The Ibanez TMB100 or the Squier Affinity Jazz Bass). I’m still just a kid so I’m doing chores to get there lol but I would just like to hear your thoughts
Is it worth the money to directly buy a fender jazz bass instead of a squier for a beginner?
Which one would be the best for a beginner because I'm not sure
Gah not a squire
You can tell he doesn't play bass as he can not do a proper 12 bar blues
damn i came looking for good bass guitars, i got a pep talk AND a great history lesson too
How to get many facts wrong and make every bass sound terrible in one easy lesson
There’s now the Sr300e https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SR300EIPT–ibanez-sr300e-sr-standard-iron-pewter

I like how some people just start with a esp signature bass like its crazy to me!
What bout the Yamaha trbx304?
Radiata pine is a quite light wood, it's also quite soft and easy to work with. My school uses it in our woodwork classes alot.
totaling a trip to San Antonio exited to stop by here
Where is Cort Action??
Nice video but I have to argue that the thing in a band that makes someone bob their head is the drums, i play drums so I kinda have to be biased.
love the video thanks for the info , just wanna say though your voice can get abit boring somethimes , i think you should invest in that (:
Yo I have the same bass as the second one.
Completely wrong on the history of the Tobias.
And another one bites the dust
Good to the working tone of a base demonstrated, instead of a whole lot of slap that only shows off the player, not the bass.
I had Koream bass That was. Incredible It was some cheap wood what ever pick ups Have no idea the name It sounded better then my 1975 bass
Ey! San Antonio!
He has no soul when playing. He has a very flat sound.
That Fender Mustang bass on this list kinda stings; I have one and love it…I've been playing bass for 14 years…
4:32 do a variation
Amazing…he made them ALL sound equally crappy..and there are some good basses here!
