Testing out this prototype CR6 Radius Bass Guitar from NS Design. It’s the most comfortable 6-string bass I’ve played – perfectly balanced, very lightweight (without being too light), and it sounds amazing. I blended in the piezo pickups 50% with the magnetic pickups here – they provide the crystal clear high end. I’m capturing the sound with my Genzler Amplification rig.

Heyo! This week I tested out a prototype of the soon-to-be released CR6 Radius Bass Guitar from NS Design. You 6-stringers are gonna dig this one. I blended the piezo pickup 50/50 with an even split of the magnetic neck and bridge pickups to show the CR6's crystal clear highs; not an everyday kind of tone, but it worked well in filling out this solo piece. The bass is running through my Genzler Amplification rig into a Shure Beta 52A, AKG D112, and an AKG P2. Gear links posted in the description.

Oh my lord!!! What was that!!! That was absolutely just blew the hair off of my head.????… I've been a lifelong bass player lifelong musician I started playing trumpet in the fifth grade I then transitioned to bass guitar freshman year of high school and then went to college and majored as a vocal major…. Long story short I'm still a bases at heart and recently just person just and Ivan has six string and learning how to play the six string and wow this came up and just incredible

Why not use D'addario NS Design Bass Guitar/Bass Cello Strings including Low B & High C on this beautiful 6 String Bass? They're Helicore Flatwound Bass Guitar Strings & the cool thing about them is that they won't scratch the frets.
